Bringing Opera to Life

Our Kindergarten through Fourth Grade students participate in a special enrichment program called Sing a Story, presented by the San Francisco Opera Guild.

Through this unique experience, a professional teaching artist visits the classroom to lead students in:

  • An engaging vocal lesson
  • Interactive storytelling
  • A musical retelling of a classic opera

Students don't just listen - they participate, sing, and become part of the story. The program introduces young learners to the beauty of opera in a way that is joyful, age-appropriate, and inspiring.

Sing a Story sparks imagination, builds confidence, and brings the magic of music directly into our classrooms.
