SSPP is an exceptional K-8 school that we wholeheartedly recommend. The sense of community is truly remarkable—it's inclusive, supportive, and makes every family feel welcome. The academic standards are high, challenging students to reach their full potential and preparing them well for the important transition to high school. Many students are accepted into their top high school choices, which speaks to the strong academic foundation SSPP provides. The teachers are approachable, caring, and deeply professional, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. We also admire Principal Dr. Lisa Harris for her years of dedicated leadership, fostering both academic excellence and a warm, caring community for all students.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Saints Peter & Paul School (SSPP). Our younger daughter is currently in 6th grade, and our older daughter, a graduate of SSPP, is now a junior at Sacred Heart High School and doing exceptionally well. It’s clear that SSPP prepared her thoroughly for high school.
Everything about SSPP is ideal. The teachers are fantastic, and the curriculum is strong at every grade level. One of the main reasons we chose SSPP for our children was the glowing feedback we received about the teaching staff. From elementary through junior high, we’ve been extremely happy with all the teachers our daughters have had.
The class sizes and teacher-to-student ratio are also excellent. The school is in a great location in the city, close to many parks and playgrounds in the North Beach neighborhood. SSPP is also conveniently located right next to the Salesian Boys & Girls Club, where most students attend for after-school care, sports, and other fun activities. It's a great resource for families and adds to the sense of community.
SSPP is more than just a school—it's a true community where families support one another in raising well-rounded, kind children. Even the school fundraisers feel less like traditional fundraisers and more like block parties that bring the entire neighborhood together.

Our school is deeply rooted in North Beach where small businesses, local families, and dedicated residents come together to create a unique and supportive community. The strength of our neighborhood lies in the relationships we build—where shopkeepers know your name, neighbors look out for one another, and local businesses play an integral role in shaping the future of our children.
Here, every corner of our community contributes to the growth, success, and well-being of our kids, making this place truly special to raise our family.
